Binru Yang
Founder
Rose shapes our mission to designing project strategies and guiding our outreach efforts. With a background in programming, web design, and communications, she builds our digital platforms and continues to oversee both the technical and creative sides of our work. Rose is deeply involved in everything from planning campaigns to promoting our impact. Rose believes change starts when we stop waiting for
permission and start creating solutions ourselves —and that’s exactly what we’re doing here.
Magic Yuan
Financial Manager
Another key member at O.WATER, where she leads the organization’s financial planning and management.
With a strong sense of structure and vision, Magic supports the team
in turning creative ideas into actionable, long-term plans.
Her careful budgeting and strategic insight ensures that every project is not only impactful but also economically sustainable.
Dingchen Jin
Research leader
A teacher and a core member in the O.WATER team, contributing through his deep expertise in mathematics and statistics.
He plays a central role in developing quantitative models, performing complex calculations, and conducting probability-based assessments for
various sustainability projects. Mr. Jin’s ability to translate abstract mathematical concepts into
practical tools provide strong analytical support for the team.
Dora Ran
Creative contributor
Dora is a creative contributor at O.WATER, supporting
the team through outreach, web design, and visual content creation.
Dora plays a key role in shaping the organization’s online presence and making its message more engaging and accessible to the public.
She enjoys using design to inspire environmental awareness and action
in her community.
Amanda Liu
Researcher
A high school student and a passionate team member at O.water. She contributes to the team through impact assessment and advertisement of water sustainability projects. At O.water, Amanda mainly works on evaluating the effectiveness of local water initiatives and communicating our achievements and progress externally.
Yobi Ran
Programmer
Currently studying at high school and brings strong technical skills to our O.water team. With a background in programming and modeling, Yobi contributes by building tools and simulations that support data analysis and project development. He enjoys applying computational thinking to real-world environmental challenges and is always exploring new ways to use code for meaningful impact.
Howie Wu
Programmer
Graduate student with a strong background in computer science, modeling, and data analysis. Passionate about leveraging technology for social and environmental impact, he brings analytical abilities and innovative thinking to sustainability challenges. At O.water, he serves as the Data & Modeling Lead, using data-driven methodologies to support the organization’s environmental initiatives.
Lily Zou

A high school student with strong communication skills and a passion for environmental advocacy. She believes that raising awareness and inspiring action through education, events, and social media are truly important. At O.water, Lily helps bridge the conversation between young communities and environmental issues.
